Contrary to Popular Belief, I Don't Hate Baths

I had my first bath on Saturday. Mommy and daddy were acting tense and nervous beforehand, as if something traumatizing was about the happen to me, so I was initially very suspicious of this so-called "bath." I will admit that I haven't been terribly pleasant during my sponge baths, which I suppose would provide adequate cause for mommy and daddy's initial anxiety, but they need to learn to have a little more faith in me. I know I'm only two weeks old, but I am learning to be more openminded when it comes to new experiences.

Case in point: I didn't hate the bath. I didn't even cry for a second. I might even venture to say I quite liked it. It was kind of fun, sitting in a tub full of warm water, kicking my feet around in it. Plus, afterwards, they wrapped me up in my favorite white teddy bear towel. I love my teddy bear towel because I look super cute in it (if I do say so myself) and one of my primary goals in life currently is to look cute.

(Thanks to mommy's friend from NYC, Sarah Elmore, for both the baby tub and the white teddy bear towel!)

Love,
WFT
