I'm Long and Strong and Packing on the Pounds

I had my two week appointment last Monday with Dr. Donohoe (I know, I'm a bit behind on blogging... Monday was a jam-packed day, Tuesday I was too busy sleeping and yesterday I had a "bad day," but we'll speak no more of that).

Apparently, I am the tallest baby in the world. According to the stats we got from the doctor, I am in the 100th percentile for length at my age. Hard to believe, but I'll take it. And I am a super, super strong baby (lifting my head up is a piece of cake). The doctor didn't say that, it's just my own assessment. Something the doc did say is that I gained a ridiculous amount of weight since my last appointment and am an excellent eater. Tell me something I didn't already know, doc.

Encouraged by Dr. D (with whom mommy and daddy and I are all in love, each for differing reasons... I'll leave it at that), mommy and daddy decided to introduce a 9/10pm bottle (of breast milk) into the mix. The idea is that mommy is supposed to go to bed early while daddy feeds me the bottle. Let's just say it hasn't really gone according to plan. Mommy and daddy are still trying to work out the logistics of the "Sports Center bottle" as Dr. D calls it because it's theoretically supposed to happen during Sports Center (little does he know that daddy pretty much shuns all forms of television). I am sorry to report the Sports Center feeding hasn't gone terribly well, but the kids are trying their hardest, bless their hearts. Eventually they'll get it down.

In other news of great importance, I am battling a blocked tear duct in my left eye. Buni and Luci keep insisting it's an eye infection and demand that mommy procure some sort of ointment from the doctor. But Dr. D says it's no big deal and that it will go away on its own. In the meantime, I just have to live with constant eye goop in my left eye which is fine with me, although I do regret to say it may have ruined a couple of great close-up photographs of me.

Finally, mommy tried to bust out the activity mat the other day. As you can tell by the pictures below, I wasn't very interested in it.

That's pretty much it in my life right now.

Love,
WFT
