Mommy and daddy celebrated their five year wedding anniversary last night... without me. The first picture below is the image of true familial bliss... just before the parents abandoned the baby.
Don't get me wrong, they called in serious reinforcements. I had Buni, Papa John and Luci watching me. However, the only thing missing was my milk supply (otherwise known as mommy).
I woke up around 10pm hungry as a hippo. There's only one thing that gets me upset and forces me to resort to the most rudimentary form of communication (crying), and that one thing is hunger. So yeah, I may have cried a bit when I awoke and nobody was there to feed me. Why ya gotta judge?
Buni and Luci thought they had the prefect solution. They triumphantly pulled out a bottle a breast milk from the refrigerator, warmed it up and offered it to me. I will take breast milk any way I can get it, so I gladly accepted. It was my first bottle, but it was no big deal to me. The only problem - less than an ounce of milk?!? Are you kidding me here people? You think that's going to tide me over? What a bunch of amateurs.
I eventually quieted down for my babysitters, but boy did I give mommy and daddy hell when then they got home last night.
The rest of the pictures below are from my derelict parents' night out without their son.
Love,
WFT
